Theories on what we will be getting for the Nintendo Switch

What do you guys think? What can be the upcoming game for Switch?
Another game in Alola (something after USUM)? Remakes of Red and Blue? Remakes of Diamond and Pearl? Or something entirely new (Gen 8)?

I really hope for a new generation because it was mentioned that the games would release in over a year so it's the perfect time for a new generation

It wouldn't surprise me either 8th or 1st Gen I'm super excited for whatever it is

What I think it'll be: A new "spin-off RPG", like "Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness", or "Pokémon Colosseum"
What I think it can be: Gen 4 remakes
What I think it's plausible: A modern Gen 1 remake or a new generation
What I wish it to be: Gen 5 remakes

I guess it is true it could be with how far out this release is

It may not release for more than a year... so they can make the remake of gen 4 for Nintendo 3DS as the last game of gen 7 and start with gen 8 with the Switch (2 years)
