Three new sets of Support Pokémonr have been revealed: Cubone & Diglett, Magneton & Quagsire and Espeon & Umbreon.
Its also confirmed that there's no plans to release additional DLC for Pokémon and stages.
Cubone uses the quick attack Bonemerang (a long range attack) to hit multiple times the foe and bring the opponet to you.
Diglett uses Dig, this attack makes it easy to land combos when the opponent has been hit.
Magneton uses Tri Attack which lowers the opponent's Speed and Attack (it's a good move against jumping opponents).
Quagsire uses Mud Bomb which is a damages move effective against players on the ground and which defend.
Espeon uses Morning Sun which removes status conditions and heal the Hit Points.
Umbreon uses Snarl which sucks the enemy's Resonance Gauge and prevent them to land critical hits.
New features were announced:
- Ferrum League (exclusive to the Wii U version): this league takes place in the Ferrum region and here the Resonance Stones link people and their Pokémon. Beating stages adds more support Pokémon and battle areas. This league has four ranks: Green League, Blue League, Red League and the Chrome League.
- new modes: Practice mode (you test your skills with no time or health), Free Training, Combo Dojo (here they teach you various combo for your Pokémon), My Town (you can alter your character's appearance and clothes - you use in-game currency).
There will be various trainers:
- Nia: helps the player to navigate the world (she has a Weavile)
- there are some chatracters that are exclusive to the Wii U version: Travis with his Garchomp, Keith with his Suicune and Erin with her Braixen
