    GIGANTAMAX
Gigantamax Pokémon become bigger, and just like normal Dynamaxing, Gigantamaxing boosts the power of the Pokémon. It also allows each Gigantamax Pokémon to use a unique move known as a G-Max Move. Each G-Max Move is particular to a specific species of Gigantamax Pokémon, and regular Dynamax Pokémon can’t use G-Max Moves at all. Only certain species of Pokémon can Gigantamax.

Regular Drednaw and Corviknight can Dynamax, but there are some special members of these species that can Gigantamax. You can catch Gigantamax Pokémon for your team by participating in Max Raid Battles.

Alcremie didn't make such a good first impression on me. I guess I have this thing against artificial food Pokemon.
However, after seeing Gigantamax, I understood the idea behind the cake and cream :yesyes:

Rose and Oleana strongly remind me of Tony Stark and Pepper Potts from Iron Man. I'm sure many others thought so to.

Speaking of, I like how Game Freak puts all these different references in the games, but it horribly lacks consistency.
What I noticed in SWSH is that while Galar is a region based on Great Britain, its legendaries are based on an old transforming robot TV show from Japan, and it includes characters that strongly refer to the United States.

Now it kinda bothers me that Kalos is based on France, with legendaries based on Norse mythology and a champion that refers to a famous actress who isn't French.

I love Alcremie because I love both strawberries and whipped cream :hype: (and because they revealed it here in July roftl)
Tony Stark and Pepper Potts from Iron Man.... I didn't think about them. Maybe it's more an American thing... dunno...
do you remember what show? :doubt: I was thinking about an old myth: I don't remember but there was a myth of an invincibile sword (or spear) and an invincible shield. I remember that when the two weapons collide they destroy themselves because both of them were invincible -> if someone remember this myth please tell me because I'm not able to find it anymore XDD so maybe this time they thought about that myth for the two legendary Pokémon

Oh I don't think the show is really about the invincible sword and shield. The robot just happens to have a sword and a chest plate that looks like Zamagenta's. I'll try and look for it.
