SV Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Announced for Nintendo Switch, coming late 2022

During today’s Pokemon Presents, The Pokémon Company announced Pokemon Scarlet and Violet for Nintendo Switch.
The games are the next mainline entries to the Pokémon series coming in Late 2022.

The Pokemon Company has confirmed Pokemon Violet/Scarlet are the first open world games in the Pokemon core series.

The English names for the new starters are Sprigatito, Fuecoco and Quaxly

Category: Grass Cat Pokémon
Height: 1'4"
Weight: 9 lbs.
Ability: Overgrow
The capricious, attention-seeking Grass Cat Pokémon

Fuecoco
Type: Fire
Category: Fire Croc Pokémon
Height: 1'4"
Weight: 21.6 lbs.
Ability: Blaze
The laid-back Fire Croc Pokémon that does things at its own pace.

Quaxly
Type: Water
Category: Duckling Pokémon
Height: 1'8"
Weight: 13.4 lbs.
Ability: Torrent
The earnest and tidy Duckling Pokémon.

I agree with you XD
for me that was a cutscene with some new Schoolgirl/Schoolboy trainer class... so I was really surprised when they announced that they are the main characters!!
