Q: Why did you decide on this protagonist?
A: I decided to make this May figure because I had a feeling that there were a lot of people who love May from Pokémon Ruby and Pokémon Sapphire!

Q: What has been the hardest part of the process so far?
A: I’m always nervous when making Pokémon and their protagonists into statues because I know how dear they are to the fans... I always put a lot of effort into making the atmosphere, poses, and facial expressions in a design that are relatable and memorable to as many people as possible.

Q: Which parts of the sculpting process did you pay attention to most?
A: I did my best to make sure the squareness of May’s shoulders and characteristics of the limbs from the original design were accurately recreated in the figure. The cute round shape of Torchic trying so hard to breathe fire is so adorable! I really hope you will be able to enjoy this figure by adding it to your collection...!
