Registration for the next Pokémon Sword and Shield online Competition, "International Friendly", begins from Thursday, June 11, at 05:00 UTC until Thursday, June 25, at 23:59 UTC.
The competition goes from Friday, June 26, at 00:00 UTC until Sunday, June 28, at 23:59 UTC.

Competition Format
• Double Battles
• 4–6 Pokémon of Lv. 1–100
• All Pokémon will become Lv. 50 for the duration of each battle.
• Four Pokémon will be selected per battle.

Eligible Pokémon
• Pokémon in the Galar Pokédex No. 001–397 and the following Pokémon: Bulbasaur, Ivysaur, Venusaur, Squirtle, Wartortle, Blastoise, Slowpoke (Galarian Form), Rowlet, Dartrix, Decidueye, Litten, Torracat, Incineroar, Popplio, Brionne, and Primarina
• Only Pokémon obtained in Pokémon Sword or Pokémon Shield (either caught, hatched from Eggs, or received as an official Mystery Gift) are eligible, excluding Legendary or Mythical Pokémon.
• These Pokémon capable of Gigantamaxing may be used: Charizard, Butterfree, Pikachu, Meowth, Machamp, Gengar, Kingler, Lapras, Eevee, Snorlax, Garbodor, Corviknight, Orbeetle, Drednaw, Coalossal, Flapple, Appletun, Sandaconda, Toxtricity, Centiskorch, Hatterene, Grimmsnarl, Alcremie, Copperajah, and Duraludon.

Total Time: 20 minutes
Player Time: 7 minutes
Preview Time: 90 seconds
Turn Time: 45 seconds

Battles per day: maximum of 15
• Any remaining battles under the daily limit can be carried over to the following day.
• Each day changes over at 00:00 UTC.

Participation Gift
50 Battle Points
• You must complete at least one battle to receive the in-game gift.
• Gifts can be redeemed once rankings are announced.

Thursday, June 11, at 05:00 UTC until Thursday, June 25, at 23:59 UTC
Entry into the competition is not allowed once the competition has started, so be sure to complete sign-up during the sign-up period.

To register:
1. Launch your Pokémon Sword or Pokémon Shield game.
2. Enter the VS menu.
3. Select Battle Stadium.
4. Select Online Competitions.
5. Select Search Official Competitions.

Competition Period
Friday, June 26, at 00:00 UTC until Sunday, June 28, at 23:59 UTC
• You can register your Battle Team after the start of the competition.

Divisions
Juniors: Players born January 1, 2005, or later
Masters: Players born December 31, 2004, or earlier

Ranking Results
July 2020 (subject to change)

To view your rankings:
1. Launch your Pokémon Sword or Pokémon Shield game.
2. Enter the VS menu.
3. Select Battle Stadium.
4. Select Online Competitions.
5. Select Search Official Competitions.

Participation Gift
50 Battle Points
• You must complete at least one battle to receive the in-game gift.

• When using one Nintendo Account to play both Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield, you can enter with each game.
• Battle data and results will be provided to Nintendo Co., Ltd., and The Pokémon Company (and their subsidiaries).
• Players may battle up to 15 times per day. A new day begins at 00:00 UTC. Remaining battles from previous days will be carried over to following days.

Players engaging in or exhibiting the following may receive penalties and be restricted from participating in future online events.
• Use of unauthorized methods to alter game save data, use of Pokémon that have data altered via altering code, or Pokémon created through the use of altering code
• Significantly large number of disconnects during battle, from when your opponent has been decided to when the match results have been fully sent to the server (please ensure a stable connection environment when connecting to the internet)
• Troubling behavior that could affect other participants or make others feel unpleasant
• Actions that would obstruct battles and operations, such as hacking
• Registering with incorrect information or impersonating another player
• Other actions that operation hosts determine to be inappropriate
