Registration for the next Pokémon Sword and Shield online Competition, "Extreme Speed! Single Battles!!", are now open until March 19 at 4:59 p.m. PDT.
The competition goes from March 19 at 5:00 p.m. PDT until March 22 at 4:59 p.m. PDT.

COMPETITION FORMAT

Single Battles

From 1 to 6 Pokémon (you can only use 1 Pokémon in battle)
All Pokémon will have their level automatically set to Lv. 50 during battles.
Pokémon cannot Dynamax in this competition.
When selecting your Pokémon for battle, you cannot preview your opponent’s Pokémon.

Prize
Everyone who participates will earn 50 BP

Eligible Pokémon
Galar Pokédex No. 001–397 and the following Pokémon:
Bulbasaur, Ivysaur, Venusaur, Squirtle, Wartortle, Blastoise, Slowpoke (Galarian Form), Cobalion, Terrakion, Virizion, Rowlet, Dartrix, Decidueye, Litten, Torracat, Incineroar, Popplio, Brionne, and Primarina
Pokémon transferred from Pokémon HOME may be used as is. Galar Pokédex No. 001–397 and the following Pokémon:

Items
  • You cannot use any items except those that can be obtained through regular gameplay (including related functions of games released by The Pokémon Company and Nintendo) or that have been awarded as part of a public distribution or special event.
  • You may give your Pokémon items to hold in this competition. However, no two Pokémon that will participate in the competition can hold the same item.
Battle Times
  • Total Time: Max 10 minutes
    Your Time: Max 5 minutes
  • Selection Time: Each Trainer gets 30 seconds to select Pokémon.
  • Turn Time: Each Trainer gets 10 seconds to select an action each turn.
Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield Extreme Speed! Single Battles!! Online Competition
Feel the rush in the next Online Competition with short, fast battles.
Register now and go for it all in the Extreme Speed! Single Battles!! Online Competition. With only 10 seconds per turn to select a move, you'll have to think fast and make quick decisions. To speed up games even more, there won't be a Pokémon Team Preview period, and your Pokémon won't be able to Dynamax. Everyone who participates will earn 50 BP for their Pokémon Sword or Pokémon Shield adventure. Good luck, Trainers!

The competition format is Single Battles, and all Pokémon will become Lv. 50 for the duration of each battle. All Pokémon that are capable of moving to Pokémon Sword or Pokémon Shield via Pokémon HOME are permitted (excluding Legendary and Mythical Pokémon). You can play 15 battles per day, and remaining battles under the daily limit can be carried over to the following day.

Registration for this Online Competition runs from March 11 at 10:00 p.m. PDT until March 19 at 4:59 p.m. PDT. The competition will take place from March 19 at 5:00 p.m. PDT until March 22 at 4:59 p.m. PDT.
