Champion Wallace or Champion Steven?

Which champion do you prefer? Wallace or Steven?

For me, Steven I like his team and he was always really difficult to defeat (his Mega Metagross in ORAS is a real hell!)

Steven felt more difficult to beat because his team wasn't all part steel type in Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire. He was a really cool champion too. Not only is he a handsome guy wearing rings and a suit, he was really helpful in the story. I loved how he's the only way you can get a beldum too. I always dreamed of getting a cool metagross like him XD

Wallace on the other hand, was kind of underwhelming. He didn't appear that much in the Emerald story and his team is all part water, which is easy to handle if you know how.

None of them is really memorable to me... But, I'm voting for Steven, two reasons:
- He looks cooler than Wallace;
- I prefer his team than Wallace's. I mean, I don't like his team, neither Wallace's one, but at least Steven has a Skarmory, and as @unownzone told, Wallace's team is half water type, which means probably if he was the champion in ORAS (or if we had a Emerald remake), I'd probably would defeat him as I defeat him at the Sootopolis Gym battle, using only Emolga (well, maybe I would use Sceptile against Whiscash).

Steven also more of a challenge... Then again back in Emerald I was using Rayquaza against Wallace so he didn't stand much of a chance...

I'd love ORAS would have included Wallace as the champion after beating the game for the first time, in the rematches, having Steven as the first champion was nice but having Wallace in the champion spot for the rest of the game would have been awesome imo...first Steven then Wallace...

I like Steven better, but think Wallace would work as a top, pre-league gym leader with his Champion team.

During my Emerald playthrough earlier this year I actually had an easier time using Sceptile to defeat Wallace than I usually do when I use a Rayquaza.

If I remember well, Wallace use a lot of water type Pokémon so Sceptile is a good Pokémon against him
