Seriously (show creators) stop making it seem like the league is such great thing if he's always losing, literally the only league's I could accept was everything up Sinnoh, Unova was a bust, Kalos was just stupid at the end, and now, In Alola, he will lose again.
But, i can forgive it, if something happens, like ash not losing to either Hau or Gladion, the only person he'd better lose to is the masked royal, otherwise, it just continues to prove the point that there is no point in watching more than one season of the anime, because they all basically begin and end the same way.

I totally agree with you there, and yes Kalos was just stupid... they could easilly make him win that one!! the whole anime was made for that to happen and yet they let him lose >->
I haven't watched Alola tbh.. I find the art style just so triggering I hate it so much and from what I've seen in the first few episodes... the story sucks a** either >-<

I totally agree with you there, and yes Kalos was just stupid... they could easilly make him win that one!! the whole anime was made for that to happen and yet they let him lose >->

I like certain aspects of Alola, but I swear if he loses to any of his classmates, that will be the end of it, like none of those kids have even trained a full team before, and Ash has, but I get the feeling besides certain cameos and callbacks, Ash's capabilities as a trainer will never be fully acknowledged.

I can see why, there have been some cameo's of old people, and the concept of it being a school, yeah that is new and was potentially interesting and the kahuna's was a nice interesting concept either.
I don't think his capabilities will ever be acknowledged... like I mentioned, in Kalos the whole anime was basically acknowledging Ash's capabilities.. except for that damned ending of the league >-> that was the trigger for me to consider stopping watching the anime as a whole.. (yeah I really loved the Kalos region's 'Adult' Ash xD).
And I also like Sinnoh, it was an epic League and it was a bummer he (... kindof starting to be a 'duh' atm) lost it.

I don't think his capabilities will ever be acknowledged... like I mentioned, in Kalos the whole anime was basically acknowledging Ash's capabilities.. except for that damned ending of the league >-> that was the trigger for me to consider stopping watching the anime as a whole.. Don't get me started on Sinnoh, he knew he was taking on a trainer with a legendary and five unknown pokemon, and the only teammates he used that I can accept are Sceptile (one strong boy), Pikachu (One of his OG legendary defeaters) and Heracross (This guy should've taken Darkrai out), the rest were all the stupidest decision ever. And I get that maybe the team he used against Paul were all too damaged from his brutatlity, but what about Snorlax, Charizard (could've brought him back, imagine how epic that would've looked, compared to the kind of bland return we got of him in black and white), and I don't know anything other than a crybaby Torkoal (not saying it's a bad Pokémon, but you shouldn't use it for what is a legendary battle), a quite gutsy Swellow (Glalie would've been a better choice, diversity would've been key for what was an unknown battle) and that Gible (maybe it would've been okay to use it, but it should've at least evolved into a Gabite by then). And I'm not saying he should've even won that battle, but he should've been able to make the decision to use better pokemon for said battle.

Yeah that is true, he def should've brought better Pokémon for that legendary battle!! and Gosh I really thought at that moment he brought Charizard but Nooooooo of course he wouldn't ._. ... as if Charizard hasn't helped him in legendary battles before (ughm silent reference to movies) because he's such a badass Charizard...
And OOOH don't get me started on B&W!!! GOD that was the worst I've ever seen.. COME ON if we watch B&W.. meaning most of us has seen his journey except for the new generation kids (like in ever *bleep* region was btw) WE *Bleep* know how the mechanics are!! And that Ash brought his Charizard because reasons, and that freaking green haired idiot still had to tell HIM... and US (the audience) what the *bleep* Fighting was and disadvantages of types and all the other *bleep*crap the WHOLE *Bleep* ANIME THROUGH!! While just as stated he has a BADASSED trained Charizard who has been training on his own because of the great care of Ash himself, knows how to handle a battle (As seen in X&Y) and sometimes takes risks with types (as he thinks that might work better for some reason... and mostly works out though xD).. and still we get to hear Cilan (?.. dunno how to write his name anymore xD) Say all that dumb and stupid stuff throughout the whole anime.. especially at the end of the anime while Cilan has been travelling with Ash for a while now, knows his risks and still is 'surprised' by his type decisions and afterwards is like "Oh yeah that I saw coming from the start".. Yeah right!!...

I think that Ash won't win the Alola league... his team don't seem strong enought... Pikachu (ok, he travel with Ash but seems to always return to "level 1" when a new season starts XD), Rowlet (uh... I like him but... evolve it please!!!), Lycanrock (seems that it can be useful), Torracat (I hope it will evolve so it will be a powerful ally for the league) and Meltan cry3: sorry Meltan, I like you but you seem really useless!)

the only "league" he won was the Orange League but that was an anime only region... oh, and let's not forget the Battle Frontier -> but that's not a league XD
I still don't know why the authors won't let him win a league... it's not the end of the journey, Ash will still continue the journey to catch new Pokémon and try to win a new league... (remember when Goku won a tenkaichi tournament? He didn't stop to train so I don't see why Ash can't win an official league and continue to try to be the very best)

Spoiler: And the winner is...

Since Gladion is not holding a Trophy, Ash is the Alola league champion (and received the throphy from the Masked Royal)

Since the video is only a preview from OhaSuta maybe things are different (Ash delivers the trophy to Gladion for winning the Alola Leaguue) so we have to wait until tomorrow but... I think that Ash finally won the league!
