Which one you guys prefer??

I really love traditional but I prefer Digital since I can do much more things :yesyes: and it's interesting since you can use every kind of brush without buying it  :happydance:

As I'm not a artist, I may write something silly, so be patient with me... Well, I like both, digital and traditional, I can't choose one.

I like the tradicional, 'cause, I don't know, but it like transmit me a bigger sensation of something handmade. Something that a (wo)man really made his/her best to reach the final result. I'm not saying that I think that "digital artists" don't to their best, it is just my subconscious. I think I feel this way 'cause I'm pretty bad in almost every handwork I've ever tried in my entire life.

But, I really enjoy digital arts, I think in the Pokémon fan community we've a lot of great digital artists (I'll not name any names, 'cause I could make unfairness with some great artists). I love how the artists can play with the colours, brightness and this kind of things. And also, digital arts allow myself to edit some arts without getting a rough result.

I actually love various sorts of art whether they be traditional, digital, paintings, plushies, sculptures, or photography and cosplays. I try to use both styles though. :D I mostly do traditional because right now I can't find my tablet in all the boxes I still have packed with stuff since my move in late May.

What kind of tablet do you use?

I really don't like the Bamboo one... I used one but... :knife: after that I bought another one and it was much better but I still can't like the usual graphic tablets :facepalm2:

If you want, you can open a new thread and show us some of your works  :happydance:

@May Oh it's okay i'm the same way. The Bamboo one was nice at first then I kept getting irritated at it because I would have to guess where I was drawing. I really want a tablet that I can see the picture right there on the screen and be able to draw right on the surface. :)

Yeah I was thinking of that one. Or maybe a Microsoft SurfaceBook. That's what I really want.

it's pricier but cheaper than a Macbook Pro by about $1000 USD. Here's a link to the Microsoft website for it. the laptop swivels around to lay flat so you can draw on the screen and it says it comes with about as much if not more tech than a macbook. https://www.microsoft.com/surface/en-us/devices/surface-book

I suggest you to inform really well before buying one because if it don't have enought LPI it will be difficult to draw :yesyes: (for my old tablet I searched for 2-3 days before buying it -> I searched about the LPI, DPI and so on XDD)

Digital art, since I excel badly at traditional art SO much, it's not even funny.
I think handling yourself around pixels and optimising for the internet itself, is a challenge enough!

I actually prefer traditional. First off, I don't have the correct "pen" or writing tool to make it easier. I am horrible at drawing with my finger.

I started out with traditional, and I personally find it easier for me. :yesyes:

Hmm well as almost everybody here probably already knows I prefer Traditional Art over Digital Art.
The reason behind it for me is you can put so much effort in just pencil and paper and a huge error is there forever so allot of care goes into a piece, plus I love the look of Traditional Art... as it says it looks traditional and sometimes I'm at awe how some people manage to draw SO freaking well traditionally >-<

On a side note, I do like Digital arts though >-< Many of them look beautiful and truth to be told, I am since shortly honing my digital skills (I've bought a digital tablet :D yeay) so I know that allot of effort and care goes into Digital Art as well.. but for me it takes away the aesthetics of 'what's there.. is there'. ^-^

That's exactly what I hate about traditional XDDD I hate when I do a mistake, it will be there forever and I'll always know where it is XD my eye will always look at that mistake XD

(I've bought a digital tablet :D yeay)
What kind of new digital tablet?? An Intuos? Something else? I'm curious!! :hype::hype::hype::hype::hype::hype:

I do admit that it's quite annoying when you made such a huge mistake it is there forever, though sometimes you're able to cleverly hide the mistake xD which I sometimes do if I made a mistake or if for some reason a smudge happened xD

I've bought a Huion Inspiroy H640P, It's very affordable and it's really nice to work with!!!

I think it's not that easy to hide a mistake XD well, I'm not able so that's why I prefer digital... you can have a lot of layers to work and if something isn't right you fix it in another layer before deleting the one with the mistake :yeahyeah:
