Here's a list of the new Mega Pokémon form the 6th generation!

Type:

Ability: Insomnia
Item: Mewtwonite Y (only in Pokémon Y)
MEGA MEWTWO Y

This new form was shown for the first time on the web in some test images for the sixteenth movie poster. It was officially announced on April 7, 2013 Pokémon Smash. Although we thought it was a new Pokémon resembling Mewtwo, on April 18 was confirmed that this is his alternate form. August 8, 2013 was finally confirmed that this is the Mega Evolution of Mewtwo. Mega Mewtwo will have the ability Insomnia.
This Mega Evolution appeared in the 16th movie, "Extremespeed Genesect and the Awakening of Mewtwo".

On September 11 (in CoroCoro) was confirmed that this Mega Evolution (you need the Mewtwonite Y) is called Mega Mewtwo Y and is exclusive to Pokémon Y.

Item: Mewtwonite X (only in Pokémon X)
MEGA MEWTWO X

This is the Mega Evolution of Mewtwo and is exclusive to Pokémon X. Mega Mewtwo X will have the ability Steadfast. It's type will change to Psychic/Fighting and has an increased Attack stats.
It was show for the first time in CoroCoro of October (September 11, 2013).

MEGA BLAZIKEN

This is the Mega Evolution of Blaziken. Mega Blaziken will have the ability Speed Boost. Blazikenite is the item needed to Mega Evolve Blaziken.
It was show for the first time in CoroCoro of September (August 8, 2013).

Item: Lucarionite
MEGA LUCARIO

This is the Mega Evolution of Lucario. Mega Lucario will change his ability to Adaptability, which increases the power of moves that have the same type as the user. Lucarionite is the item needed to Mega Evolve Lucario.
It was show for the first time in CoroCoro of September (August 8, 2013).

MEGA ABSOL

This is the Mega Evolution of Absol. Mega Absol will have the ability Magic Bounce. It has increased Attack and Speed stats.

MEGA AMPHAROS

This is the Mega Evolution of Ampharos. Mega Ampharos will have the ability Mold Breaker. It's type will change to Electric/Dragon.

MEGA MAWILE

This is the Mega Evolution of Mawile. Mega Mawile will have the ability Huge Power. It has increased Defense and Special Defense stats.

Item: Kangaskhanite
MEGA KANGASKHAN

This is the Mega Evolution of Kangaskhan. Mega Kangaskhan will have the ability Parental Bond, with this ability both Kangaskhan and the baby will attack in the same turn, so the two will use the same attack twice in a turn.
It was show for the first time at VGC Opening Ceremony (August 11, 2013).

MEGA VENUSAUR

This is the Mega Evolution of Venusaur. Mega Venusaur will have the ability Thick Fat. It has increased Defense and Special Defense stats.
It was show for the first during the Pokémon Direct (September 4, 2013).

Item: Charizardite Y (only in Pokémon Y)
MEGA CHARIZARD Y

This is the Mega Evolution of Charizard. Mega Charizard Y will have the ability Drought. It has increased the Special Attack stats.
It was show for the first during the Pokémon Direct (September 4, 2013).
Mega Charizard Y and is exclusive to Pokémon Y.

Item: Charizardite X (only in Pokémon X)
MEGA CHARIZARD X

Mega Charizard X is exclusive to Pokémon X and is a Fire/Dragon type. His ability is Tough Claws (which raises the power of moves that make direct contact) and can use Dragon Tail. It has increased Attack stats.
It was show for the first during the special episode of the anime "Pokémon the Origin" (Octber 2, 2013).
Mega Charizard X and is exclusive to Pokémon X.

MEGA BLASTOISE

This is the Mega Evolution of Blastoise. Mega Blastoise will have the ability Mega Launcher.
It was show for the first during the Pokémon Direct (September 4, 2013).

MEGA GARCHOMP

This is the Mega Evolution of Garchomp. Mega Garchomp will have the ability Sand Force. It has decreased Speed but increased Attack and Special Attack.

Item: Gengarite
MEGA GENGAR

This is the Mega Evolution of Gengar. Mega Gengar will have the ability Shadow Tag. When Gengar Mega Evolves into Mega Gengar, its Sp. Atk rises significantly, putting it in the top tier of all Pokémon.
This Pokémon leaked out some days before the launch of the game and was confirmed in Coro Coro (October 10, 2013).

Item: Tyranitarite (only in Pokémon X)
MEGA TYRANITAR

This is the Mega Evolution of Tyranitar. Mega Tyranitar will have the ability Sand Stream. Tyranitarite, the Mega Stone needed to Mega Evolve Tyranitar, can only be obtained in Pokémon X. When Tyranitar Mega Evolves, its Attack and Defense both increase. The Sand Stream Ability is triggered when Tyranitar enters battle, and it also triggers when it Mega Evolves into Mega Tyranitar.
This Pokémon leaked out some days before the launch of the game and was confirmed in Coro Coro (October 10, 2013).

MEGA AGGRON

This is the Mega Evolution of Aggron. Mega Aggron will have the ability Filter.
The destructive ability of its fearsome horns can turn a steel-clad tank into so much scrap metal. Aggronite, the Mega Stone needed to Mega Evolve Aggron, can only be obtained in Pokémon Y. By Mega Evolving, Aggron changes both its type and its Ability. By changing to a purely Steel-type Pokémon, it reduces its weaknesses, and its Filter Ability also reduces the damage it takes from supereffective moves.
